an individual's contribution far more than the individual himself. ”

Dr W. Edwards Deming (1900 - 1993) revolutionised industry by introducing continual improvement concepts to manufacturing. His work inspired significant changes in the way quality control is applied and used - believing that the people who are doing the job are the ones in the best position to make improvements, rather than someone overseeing them in a white coat. Deming is also well known for his work in leading Japan's ecomonic growth post World War II era. One of the simplest practical ideas he introduced revolves around a continual improvement cycle, "Plan-Do-Study-Act". Today many organisations adopt Deming's improvement cycle. We believe that end-to-end business process development, when combined with this cycle, is the key to success in understanding and applying many best practice frameworks and methodologies. “ I am forever learning and changing. ” Photo courtesy of The W.
